Fredonia, Wisconsin. Cedar Valley Publishing began in 2004 by two stay-at-home moms to help get their kids ready for the fearful first day of school. In November of 2005, Stacey Kannenberg began flying solo as a Mom CEO to help parents get involved in the education of their kids. If two brothers from Ohio can change the face of aviation, then why can't a mom from Wisconsin tackle education?

Kannenberg's award-winning books received national acclaim with winning the Voted 2006 Best Educational Book of the Year Award by the AWA, a Silver Addy for illustrations from the American Advertising Awards and was selected by Orca Communications as one of the top new products for kids in their Fall/Spring Media's Best Guide.
