Cook With Cherries and Apples from Door County, Wisconsin

Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Jean Hill and Jody Littler of Fruitful Enterprises are a mother-daughter team who both grew up in the orchard business. Living in Door County, where the cherry industry has been an integral part of life for over 100 years, Jean and Jody were inspired to publish a cookbook that would show the delicious versatility of Door County cherries. Some of the recipes they used were handed down through the generations of Jean and Jody's family.

Collecting and testing recipes for their first cookbook, Cherries Galore, was a rewarding family experience. The challenge was in encouraging readers to go beyond dessert recipes in their use of cherries. Jean and Jody's next joint venture was developing a similar cookbook devoted to apples. Apples Everything is a delight for any apple lover.
