Owner Amy Zimmerman started Poppin' Z's in 2011 as an opportunity to offer employment and enjoyment to her son Danny, who has a traumatic brain injury and is non-verbal. Danny has found meaningful employment at Poppin' Z's as he loves popping popcorn and works hard in their business. The family enjoys working together every day, especially creating new flavors and product lines. Their popcorn is crafted in individual batches, made to order so it is always fresh.
