Jean Hill and Jody Littler are a mother-daughter team who have both grown up in the orchard business in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Living in Door County, where the cherry industry has been an integral part of life for over 100 years, Jean and Jody were inspired to publish a cookbook that would show the delicious versatility of this tasty fruit. They found that collecting and testing recipes for their first cookbook, Cherries Galore, was a rewarding family experience. Part of the challenge of compiling material for this book was to encourage readers to "go beyond" dessert recipes in their use of cherries. Cherries Galore has succeeded in doing that!

Fun and Original Recipe Collection
This is a great, "historical" recipe collection. I love the original recipes, including all the different ways that cherries can be used! I am looking forward to trying many of them out. I just wished I lived closer to WI, where I am originally from. I definitely want to stock up on the frozen cherries if I can get some! Congratulations on a wonderful recipe collection, CHERRIES GALORE!!
